Playing bingo online can be a very enjoyable experience and it’s popularity has ballooned over the past couple of years.

As with bingo halls, there are some hard and fast rules that apply to playing bingo online and ignorance of these rules can result with players being banned, not just from one website, but from a whole family of websites that are supported and run by the same software or owned by the same company.
One of the first rules to ensure that you are not excluded from various websites is not to fraudulently open more than one account per household so you can receive the introductory bonus offers and free play money. Most websites have a tracker cookie which can detect if you are trying to register more than one account even if you use more than one email address or username.
A sure fire way of getting yourself banned is by becoming abusive or aggressive during the online chat sessions. Usually, when a member does become abusive or uses foul language during chat, they are issued with a warning from the chat moderator. If their conduct continues then they are normally banned temporarily from the website for a set period of hours or days dependent on the extent of their conduct. Should they continue with their behaviour after their suspended period of time, then the chat moderator can ban them from the website indefinitely. During my time of playing online bingo, I have seen this happen a few times, normally at the late night sessions of live bingo and players that can hide behind a username sometimes have nothing better to do than to disrupt another members enjoyment of playing online bingo.
